By reserving and/or operating a vessel from Lake White Boat Rental, LLC, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Rental Agreement Required- All renters and operators must read and sign the full Rental Agreement and Waiver prior to participating in any rental activity. Signing indicates full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
- Assumption of Risk- Guests understand that boating and watersport activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, drowning, and property damage. Participation is strictly at your own risk.
- Eligibility to Operate Vessels- All operators must be at least 21 years old and present a valid government-issued photo ID. Operators born on or after January 1, 1982, must present proof of successful completion of a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) boater education course or pass the ODNR proficiency exam on-site.
- Safety Briefing Requirement- All operators and passengers must attend a safety orientation prior to departure, regardless of previous experience.
- Life Jacket Policy- One U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket is provided for each guest and must be worn as instructed during the safety briefing.
- Safe Operation- No reckless, unsafe, or unauthorized use of the vessel is allowed, including violating No Wake zones or boating outside of designated areas.
- Damage Responsibility- Renters are financially responsible for any loss or damage to the vessel or equipment occurring during the rental period.
- Termination of Rental- Lake White Boat Rental, LLC reserves the right to terminate any rental without refund if any rule, law, or term of the Rental Agreement is violated. This includes, but is not limited to, unsafe behavior, intoxication, exceeding vessel capacity, or failure to follow staff instructions.
- Weather Policy- Rentals may be delayed, shortened, or canceled due to inclement weather at the discretion of staff.
- Refunds- Refunds or credits may be issued in accordance with the Rental Agreement.
- Accident Reporting- Any accident or injury must be reported immediately to Lake White Boat Rental, LLC staff and to the proper authorities.
- Hold Harmless Agreement- By participating, guests agree to release and hold harmless Lake White Boat Rental, LLC and its staff from liability for any injuries, accidents, or losses incurred.
